Digital Technology is an integral part of the modern world. Students and staff have access to a wide range of devices and technology, including iPads, Interactive Whiteboards, laptops, and remote learning cameras. We use this technology in all aspects of the curriculum and encourage students to use this in ‘real world’ applications to prepare them for the future.

Our approach to Design and Technology means that students have to use critical thinking skills to approach investigations, asking relevant and thought-provoking questions that expand their understanding of a topic. Cross-Curricular integration means that Technologies teaching includes elements of all the core curriculum areas, including Mathematics, Science and English. Our Science and Technology teams are also working closely together to develop a whole school approach to STEM. Having a well-planned, common approach to the teaching of STEM helps us to provide a rich experience for our students.
